WiseChoices is a 501c3 non-profit which presents the gripping “love story” of Rick and Barb Wise in order to educate audiences regarding HIV/AIDS, forming healthy relationships and hope in marriage. Rick and Barb’s story provides a platform for discussion among youth, educators and parents regarding character education and respect within relationships. WiseChoices promotes sex within the boundaries of marriage as the healthiest choice with the purpose of reducing the spread of STDs, unwanted pregnancy, and emotional pain. WiseChoices’ goal is to empower young people to make healthy choices in regards to the high risk behavior of teen sex.

Barb has a degree in Speech Communications from the University of Denver. Barb and Rick are certified to teach the abstinence program W.A.I.T. Training.

WiseChoices has spoken to over 80,000 people in 22 states and 3 foreign countries. Their video has been translated into Spanish, Russian and Hungarian.
